Non-Profit Networking Group to Meet May 11
The Rural Non-Profit Networking Group (RNNG) is an opportunity for the organizations that do so much good in our rural communities to share their missions and visions, discuss community needs and partnership opportunities, bring in experts to facilitate growth and professionalism, and simply connect to maximize the efficiency and impact that participants can bring to Fayette, Colorado, Lavaca, and surrounding counties. Since reactivating post-pandemic shutdown, the group is more energized than ever, back to meeting monthly, and incorporating an educational aspect into each gathering.
This month Fayette County Community Theatre (FCCT) will be hosting the RNNG gathering on Wednesday, May 11 at 10 a.m. The gathering will be held at the Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center 250 W. Fair Grounds Rd. La Grange.
Heather Barthelme, FCCT Operations Manager, will be hosting the meeting and will discuss Recruiting and Retaining Volunteers. Volunteers are the lifeblood of every nonprofit. Without them, they could not accomplish their missions. During the RNNG gathering, participants will discuss how to find good ones, and more importantly, how to keep them! While sharing, non-profits will look at how and where to find volunteers, what’s in it for them, how to keep them engaged and interested, and other important aspects of recruiting and retaining volunteers. This will be a valuable conversation.
Established as a 501(c)(3) in 2016, Fayette County Community Theatre (FCCT) is a nonprofit organization providing high-quality performing arts and theatre education to local rural community members. FCCT is a predominately volunteer organization that relies heavily on the personal time and resources of community members to ensure the organization’s mission of enriching Fayette County through entertainment and education. Currently, FCCT utilizes a working board of directors to conduct all fundraising, operational, and strategic goals.
The Rural Non-Profit Networking Group would like to invite all organizations interested participating to attend, as well as there will be a virtual option.
