Municipal and School Board Election Day is Saturday, May 4

La Grange ISD will hold a three-way race for Place 6 on the school board between Calvin Mersiovsky, Verlia Mosley and Ryan W. Kleiber. Voting takes place at the La Grange City Hall Council Chamber (155 E. Colorado St.), from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

Flatonia ISD will hold an election for Place 6 on the school board between Christinia Manzano and Jake Bass. The City of Flatonia will hold an at-large election for two place on the city council; candidates are Allen Kocian, Joanye Eversole and Josh Homan.

Voting for both elections takes place at the Flatonia City Hall Council Chamber (125 E. South Main St.) from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

The City of Fayetteville will hold an election to reauthorize a local sales tax of one quarter of one percent for maintenance of city streets. Voting takes place at Fayetteville Community Center (202 W. Main) from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

The Town of Round Top will hold an at-large election for two seats on the town council; candidates are Karen Duddlesten, Lynn Conine and Owen Massey. Voting takes place at the Town Clerk’s Office (202 N. Live Oak) from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
