Muldoon Roadways Receive Facelift
The roadways in and around the Muldoon area are looking much more manicured following the highway mowers coming through and cleaning up all the tall grass along the roadside. There also was a highway contract crew who came through and cleaned up a lot of the brush that was starting to encroach on the roadways. With all the trimming and the nice, slow rain we received, the roads are looking really nice with short green grass and cleaned up ditches.

Out and About
Ron and Pam Knotts spent a weekend recently in Galveston enjoying the cool fall weather. On Friday they enjoyed a lovely seafood dinner at Gaido’s complete with appetizers and dessert. On Saturday, they roamed around the island checking out new developments since their last visit and found a great pizza place out on the West End. Saturday night they attended a performance by the Irish tenor, Ronan Tynen, at the Grand Opera House. Besides his amazing voice, he is also doctor and a champion of disabled athletes. He has performed at many important events in America, including Ronald Reagan’s funeral. His beautiful voice and witty story telling endear him to the audience. He ends every concert with “God Bless America” and there was not a dry eye in the theater.
