MULDOON News
News of yet another attempted theft in the Muldoon area has come to light. Christmas Eve it was not Santa trying to acquire an additional trailer for his goodies, but someone tried to steal what was not theirs to take.
Please be aware of what is going on in and around you and your neighbors’ places. If you see something that does not look right, stop and take note of who, size, age, what they are wearing, etc. Write down the vehicle description and get the plate number if you can. If safe to do so, take a picture real quick. Call your neighbor and check with them and call the sheriff’s office to let them know what you see. A deputy can come out and check it out.
We all have to pull together and catch these thieves. They have been plaguing the area recently and it will take all of us pulling together to stop them. In the past it has been outsiders coming through, and taking advantage of unsuspecting residents relaxed “country vibe” to steal all sorts of stuff. Please be advised to put away and lock up your belongings. Even this does not keep everything safe, but will slow the criminals down and not offer them an easy victim.
