Out and About
Ron and Pam Knotts spent a long weekend recently in Conway, Arkansas visiting their adopted granddaughter, Keylee and her husband Trey Brasel. They had not seen the happy couple since the big wedding last October. Since Keylee and Trey recently bought a house the visit from Pop and Nan involved a variety of home improvement projects. Ron and Pam were treated to a variety of dining experiences and on Sunday went to church with a group of Keylee’s friends. A special treat was breakfast at Bob’s Grill downtown with a local WWII hero, Floyd Brantley. Mr. Floyd is 97 years old and sharp as a tack. A true American hero, he is well known across the state for his message of patriotism and faith that he shares with everyone he meets. Ron and Pam have known him for a number of years and enjoy spending time with him whenever they get to Arkansas.
Jennifer and Clay Rightmer made the trip to Waco to watch the Baylor vs. Texas State football game. They were joined by Jennifer’s sister and nephew, Julie and Zack Zavala. While in Waco they also got to see their daughter Lane Rightmer.
Dana and Darrell Kulak got to spend some time with their grandson, Henry Kulak over the Labor Day weekend. They traveled to Austin to babysit while Henry’s parents, Elton and Miko Kulak attended a wedding.
Trash on Roads
The roads in and around Muldoon has seen lots of trash gathering in the ditches. Please keep your eye out for litterers and make sure your own trash is not floating around in the back of your truck. Boxes and other garbage has really become an eyesore. Let’s all pull together and clean up the trash and make this small community clean once again.
