Mrs. Claus to Visit Muldoon Saturday
Muldoon will be once again celebrating the kickoff of the Christmas season with Christmas in Muldoon on Dec. 9 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. The festivities will start off at the Muldoon Museum with wassail and cookies to enjoy while visiting with Mrs. Claus. They also will have baked goods for sale to raise funds for the museum.
Next at 5 p.m. the Stray Gathering Cowboy Church will be hosting Santa Claus himself. Come out and have your picture taken with the jolly old man himself. This is the chance to see what all is happening in downtown Muldoon at this fast growing little church. They also will have children’s crafts to entertain the little ones.
Then at 6:30 p.m. the Muldoon Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting their annual Christmas meal. This year they will be serving fried fish, hushpuppies, coleslaw, tea and water. They are asking everyone to bring a side dish or a dessert to share with everyone. The fire department will also be collecting free will donations.
Each of the three locations will be collecting can goods. These non-perishable can goods will be donated to help feed the local needs through the Flatonia Area Food Pantry. What a great way to start off the holiday season, by sharing the love and joy of the season with those in need.
