More on Fayette County Progressive Ag Safety Day
The 5th grade class of St. Rose of Lima Catholic School attended the 21st Annual Fayette County Progressive Ag Safety Day held at the Fayette County Fairgrounds in La Grange on Friday, May 12. They learned about powerline safety, ATV safety, disaster preparedness, first aid and EMS services, animal safety, food and items that look like food poison awareness, gun safety, water safety, seat belt safety, and information about venomous snakes and poisonous plants in our area. All students enjoyed a hot dog lunch with Blue Bell Ice Cream for dessert. St. Rose appreciates all the organizations and businesses in the county that were there to provide our youngsters information about being safe while enjoying our beautiful outdoors.
