Missing Man Found, Reunited With Family

Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that on Thursday, May 12 at approximately 11:26 a.m. Deputy Lee Phillips took a report of a missing male subject from the La Grange area identified as Allen Campbell, 74 years of age.

A Silver Alert, a program administered by the Texas Center for the Missing which is designed to help locate missing or endangered elderly individuals who are diagnosed with memory loss conditions, was issued to aid in the assistance of locating Campbell.

A short time after the Silver Alert was issued, approximately 9:50 p.m. Campbell was located safely in Sealy by Officers with the Sealy Police Department. Campbell was released to a family member.
