Magician Gus Davis at RT Library June 20

Thursday, June 20, beginning at 3 p.m., enjoy “Epic Entertainment” featuring the amazing magic of Gus Davis. Your family will enjoy this high-energy, hilarious show featuring a variety of magical illusions that will “Wow” all ages, family-friendly comedy, and fun crowd participation. Join us for a magical and memorable experience for the whole family. Free and open to the public.

Local Events 

There will be a Town Hall meeting for Round Top’s newly elected Mayor on Saturday, June 15 from 4-5 p.m. Come out to learn more about the vision and priorities for the town and community, as well as a discussion on opportunities and challenges to come. This will be held at the Round Top Rifle Hall.

Celebrate Dad at the Vintage Hideaway this Saturday, June 15. There will be a shrimp boil and live music by Les Cousins. The event starts at 4 p.m.

Thursday, June 20 come to the Round Top Dance Hall for a paint party with Tropical Expressions. For $45 you will get a 16x20 blank canvas and learn to paint a Highlander cow. The painting starts at 7 p.m. but come early for food and drinks at The Stone Cellar. Tickets can be purchased at thestonecellartx.com. 

Festival Hill

The Summer Music Showcase at Festival Hill continues. Saturday features a Brass Showcase in the Festival tival Concert Hall from 1:302:30 p.m. Afterwards, The Chamber Music Concert is 3:30-4:45 p.m. Beginning at 7:30 p.m. is the Texas festival Orchestra Concert.

The weekly lineup of “Master Class” musicians, held in the Edythe Bates Old Chapel daily at 1:30 p.m., is as follows: Monday - Lorenz Gamma, violin; Wednesday – Carol Wincenc, flute; Thursday - Jonathan Gunn, clarinet; Friday - James Dick, piano.

Tuesday is the Young Person’s Concert, featuring Emilio Colon, acclaimed as a passionate and virtuosic solo cellist, chamber musician, conductor, composer and pedagogue. This will take place from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. in the Festival Concert Hall.

Round Top Rifle Hall 

On the first, second, and third Monday of the month the Round Top Rifle Hall hosts Monday Night Social from 5:30-8 p.m. The signature menu includes a delicious, hearty hamburger, fixed just the way you like it, “The Rooster” - a breaded chicken sandwich with a tangy “special sauce.” Hotdogs or chili dogs, along with fries or onion rings are also available.
