Lost Pines Toyota Makes Donation to Breast Cancer Awareness
Carlos Liriano, owner of Lost Pines Toyota in Bastrop, committed $5,000 to assist in expanding breast cancer screenings and diagnostics for women under the age of 40 in Central Texas, and Toyota will match the donation with an additional $5,000. On Friday, July 28, Lost Pines Toyota will host the Bastrop County Cares Breast Health Initiative from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., in an effort to increase access to screening for women in Bastrop County to detect cancer earlier and improve health outcomes.
Among the professionals in attendance are Dr. Julie Sprunt, a breast surgeon, and Dr. Jess Wilson, a breast cancer survivor. Also in attendance will be Susan Dawson, Founder of CTX Addressing Cancer Together Coalition, Emily De Maria, Executive Director of the Breast Cancer Resource Center, and Linda Wilson, a leader of the Bastrop County Cares Breast Health Initiative. After speeches and interviews are completed, 602 Brewing Company will provide a delicious lunch.
