    Longtime Muldoon Resident Passes

Long time Muldoon resident, Wanda Saunders passed away on Oct. 26. Wanda passed away the day before her 85th birthday. She was born in Houston to Herman and Shirley (Hanes) Williams. She is survived by her two sons Bobby Saunders and Michael Saunders, grandchildren Paul Saunders; Luke Saunders; Michael Saunders Jr; Madison Castellano; and McKenzie Saunders along with six great grandchildren.

Wanda was the smile of Muldoon. She always was willing to give a kind word to anyone who stopped by. The family is planning a private graveside service. Ladies Holiday Craft Event Saturday, Nov. 12 there will be the First Annual Ladies Holiday Craft Party. The fun and holiday festivities will be from 4-7 p.m. at the Muldoon Fellowship Center (formally the Muldoon Methodist Church building.) There still might be a chance for a few more ladies to get in on the fun. Give Karen a call or a text at (281) 682-5625 to find out if there are any openings.

Plans are for the ladies to create some beautiful crafts with the in person instruction and all supplies being provided, so all you need to do is show up. Making it a fun and easy way to spend an evening before the hustle and bustle starts for the Christmas season. Cost will be $40.

This is a chance to have an evening of fun and creativity, and maybe meet some new people. When you go home at the end of the evening you will be able to take home your finished product to gift or maybe even keep for yourself. What a fun way to start the holiday season.

Celebrates Birthday Kathy and Frank Chlumsky slipped away recently to Katy to celebrate their grandson, Connor Dong’s eleventh birthday. They joined the party at Main Event for bowling, laser tag, games and of course some birthday cake to top off the celebration.

Rain Muldoon has seen some light rain over the last week. Mornings have been on the foggy side leaving the ground moist. This has brought on some little green sprouts shooting up in the pastures. The temperatures have been on the milder side in the area.
