Locals Deliver School Supplies to Guatemala

Curtis Bradbury of Lutherhill Ministries and Rev. Jen Kindsvatter from Shared Lutheran Ministries traveled to Guatemala last week to deliver school supplies. As part of Lutherhill Ministries summer project, campers filled over 50 backpacks with school supplies to donate to Hope Academy in Antigua Guatemala. Hope Academy is an all girl bilingual STEAM school providing life-changing education for girls from 3 year old to 6th grade. As part of the transport, luggage that was donated to Second Chance was used to help bring the supplies to the school. To learn more of Hope Academy and their great work, visit tree4hope.org.
