Local Author Releases New Book “Seeing Us”
Readers of fiction can enjoy local author Audrey Wick’s latest novel Seeing Us, a Texas-set love story between a patient looking for new glasses and the town’s optometrist. Fans will enjoy seeing a few familiar locations as well as secondary characters that crossover from Wick’s previous work.
Wick writes women’s fiction and romance, both in series and stand-alone novels. This new release is a standalone contemporary novel from Pelican Book Group. Thorndike Press, from Gale, has also selected the book for library-bound laminated hardcover large-print publication. Thorndike Press books are frequently found in large-print collections of public libraries, and they are releasing this in late September. A copy of Seeing Us in this format will be available at Fayette Public Library this fall.
Bestselling author Beth Wiseman calls this novel a “A sweet romance to savor!”
In addition to novels, Wick also writes short stories. Woman’s World magazine has published her third 5-minute romance in the Aug. 7 issue. The magazine shares one story per issue that is designed to be read in only 5 minutes. Look for the story “Light My Fire” locally, as these magazines are sold at H-E-B, Wal-Mart, and Dollar General.
Wick’s novels can be purchased digitally or in hard copy via Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Apple, Target, and other retailers. Autographed copies of Wick’s books are available for purchase at The Fayette County Record. For more information about them, readers can also visit audreywick.com.
