Life Valuable, Prisons Cheap

To The Editor:

Someone please tell me what the National Rifle Association has to do with what happened in Uvalde?

The NRA promotes firearm safety and training. The NRA condemns violence in any form.

Every member of the association is shocked by what happened and condemns it completely.

Evil people do evil things and the tool they use is blameless. It is the person who is to blame.

This “pass a law” garbage as a solution let some of these antigun ownership people explain this to me.

Chicago, a city which has extremely strict “gun laws,” is a place where shootings and killings occur almost to the point of being back page news. Streets in the capitol city of Ukraine are no more dangerous than the streets in Chicago and there is a shooting war going on in Ukraine.

Criminals do not obey laws that is why they are referred to as criminals. Stop coddling criminals, put them in prison. People in prison do not commit crimes.

Stop the nonsense and enforce the criminal statutes. Life is valuable prisons are cheap.
