LHS Class of 1957 has 65th Reunion

The La Grange High School Class of 1957 celebrated their 65th class reunion at Sealand Restaurant in La Grange from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 18. The La Grange High School graduating class of 1957 held their first reunion in 1967 and has been meeting every five years since the 10th year reunion. Upon arrival each classmate signed in and was given a name tag. A short moment of silence was held for the eight classmates that departed since last reunion in 2017. Out of a total of 60 graduates, there 35 remaining and 13 of those helped to celebrate this momentous occasion along with five spouses. A short business meeting was held. Each classmate gave an update about themselves. Responses from those not attending were read by Harold Mueller. It was decided that a class reunion will be held every year. Next reunion will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023. A class picture was taken and then a delicious meal was served. A pleasurable visitation was enjoyed by all.
