LHS Class of 1956 Holds Reunion

The 83/84-year-olds from the La Grange High School Class of 1956 met at Frisch Auf Valley Country April 2 to enjoy old times along with a meal of chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans.

Coming from places around Texas – Somerville, Del Valle, Mountain City, Austin, New Braunfels, and Sealy – they rallied with family and friends around the bluebonnets and oak trees in breezy and cool temperatures of La Grange on the first Saturday of April.

The class acknowledged the seven classmates who died in the four years since the last reunion (cancelled twice because of COVID). The seven remembered classmates are Milton Schmidt, Bill Lemmons, Georgia Hajek, Billy Koehl, Virginia Schaefer Schroeder, Robert Polasek, and Henry Vitek.
