LG Police Respond To Vehicle Burglary
Police Report
La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incident his department responded to during the week of March 12-18.
Accident
On March 14, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 300 block of W. Travis for a minor accident.
On March 15, Officer Robin Emmons responded to the 500 block of E. Travis for a minor accident.
On March 17, Meinardus responded to the 2200 block of W. State Hwy.71 Business for a two-vehicle accident in the parking lot. No injuries.
Agency Assist
On March 18, Sgt. Travis Anderson assisted the Sheriffs Department with traffic control on a two-vehicle accident, fuel leak and roll over.
Burglary of Vehicle
On March 16, Officer John Wostarek took information in the 700 block of E. Upperline for burglary of a vehicle.
Burglary
On March 12, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 100 block of Rose Mayer in regard to a burglary.
Civil Matter
On March 16, Officer Curtis Zwahr checked on subjects arguing in the parking lot in the 100 block of W. Travis. Subjects were calm by the time officer arrived.
On March 18, Meinardus responded to the 900 block of E. Guadalupe to issues with a conviction.
Criminal Mischief
On March 12, Wostarek was dispatched to the 900 block of Eckel in regard to criminal mischief.
On March 12, Officer Jeffrey Archerd spoke to an individual in the 1000 block of N. Jefferson in regard to property damage.
On March 16, Haynie was dispatched to the 700 block of E. Upperline in regard to criminal mischief.
Disturbance
On March 15, Haynie was dispatched to the 800 block of N. Madison in regard to a family disturbance.
On March 16, Wostarek was dispatched to the 1100 block of E. Eblin in regard to a verbal disturbance.
On March 17, Meinardus responded to the 300 block of Wood Hollow to talk to complainant about issues with a neighbor.
Driving While Intoxicated
On March 12, Wostarek was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Jefferson for an accident. One subject was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Harassment
On March 16, Haynie spoke with subject in the 500 block of E. Lafayette regarding harassment.
Suspicious Person/Vehicle On March 12, Archerd re-sponded to the 200 block of E. Travis for suspicious subjects.
On March 13, Hayne was dispatched to the 800 block of E. Helter in regard to suspicious persons.
On March 13, Officer Thomas Keeney observed a vehicle on the road with a person jumping into it in the 100 block of N. Main.
On March 15, Haynie was dispatched to the 600 block of W. Lafayette in regard to a suspicious person.
On March 15, Keeney responded to the 1000 lock of E. Salm in regard to a suspicious person.
On March 18, Keeney responded to the 2200 block of N. Jefferson in regard to a suspicious person.
Theft
On March 17, Meinardus responded to the 1600 block of W. Hwy. 71 Business where complainant advised an item was rented and not retuned.
Welfare Check
Arch 16, Wostarek did a welfare check in the 300 block of Country Club Drive.
Warrant Arrest
On March 18, Keeney arrested a subject in the 1000 block of E. Travis.
Miscellaneous
On March 12, Haynie conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of N. Jefferson and conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle. The subject was cited and released.
On March 14, Keeney responded to the 200 block of N. Lee for a vehicle playing loud music.
On March 14, Meinardus responded to the 400 block of N. 3rd alley for juveniles throwing rock at his door.
On March 14, Anderson received a call to contact complainant in the 900 block of Mode Lane in regard to the light not being turned on at White Rock Park.
On March 15, Wostarek was dispatched to the 900 block of S. Vail in regard to a traffic hazard.
On March 15, Zwahr observed a vehicle traveling south with a flat tire in the 1600 block of N. Jefferson. The officer followed the vehicle to their residence to ensure no further incidents occurred.
On March 16, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 400 block of W. Colorado in regard to a gas leak.
