LG Girls Win Leopard Relays, Diggs Dazzles

The La Grange girls won their second team title in as many meets as they won the Leopard Relays Thursday with 137 points over second place Bellville, which had 129 points. There were eight girls teams competing.

The boys varsity team was second out of 11 teams. They had 106 points behind College Station High, which had 140.

La Grange’s Macie Collier won double gold in the hurdles and Lady Leps won the 4x100 and 4x400 relays.

Austen Diggs won the 200 meters and rallied the Leps from way back with a blistering anchor leg to win the 4x400 relay (a video that has been watched over 31,000 times on our Facebook page). Thai Scott won the triple jump and Julian Sherman won the 110 meter hurdles.
