LG 4-H Donates to Villasana Scholarship

La Grange 4-H presented a $1,142 donation to The Cesar Villasana Memorial Scholarship Fund on Wednesday, May 24. Cesar was a student at La Grange I.S.D. who died last year after a long battle with leukemia. He would have been a senior in high school next year. Madeline Willrich, who serves as Reporter for the La Grange 4-H Club, came up with the idea of donating proceeds from one of the club’s monthly service projects to the scholarship fund. The club raised the money at a bake sale held on May 6 in front of Julie B’s on the Square in La Grange.
