Ledbetter Firemen’s Feast Saturday
The Ledbetter Volunteer Fire Department’s annual Firemen’s Feast will be this Saturday, Oct. 5 at Ledbetter Firemen’s Park.
Enjoy bingo from 4-6 p.m. A fried chicken dinner will be served from 5-7 p.m. Cost is $15 per plate. Desserts will be sold by the Ledbetter Homemakers Club.
A live auction begins at 6:30 p.m.
Proceeds from the gun raffle are for restoration of the Ledbetter Firemen’s Hall.
The Round Top Hermann Sons Lodge will sponsor a Country Store.
RT-C School News
JV and varsity volleyball teams play at Lexington on Oct. 1 at 5 p.m. They host Thrall Oct. 4 at 5 p.m. with varsity playing first.
MLLC Harvest Festival The annual Martin Luther Lutheran Church Harvest Festival will be held on Sunday, Oct. 20 at the Carmine Hall at 9:30 a.m. Confirmation classes ending in the years 4 and 9 will be recognized.
Krause Duo will lead the worship music.
A meal of pork ribeye and sausage, potatoes, and green beans will be served from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Meal tickets are $15. A drawing will be held and those tickets are one for $20 or three for $50. Both tickets may be purchased at the church office. Desserts will be available for a donation.

Bingo in Ledbetter
The date of the October Bingo in Ledbetter has been changed to the third Sunday. It will be held on Oct. 20 from 2-4 p.m. at the Ledbetter Community Center.
Seniors (age 60 and older, plus guests) are welcome to enjoy the afternoon. Cost is $5 per card, which covers 10 plus games and prizes.
Chips, snacks and drinks are available for a freewill donation.
This is a nonprofit community event for entertainment.

Confirmation class is Wednesday from 4:15-6:15 p.m.
AA meets Saturday at 8:30 a.m.
Saturday worship with Holy Communion observing the Twentieth Sunday after Pentecost is at 6 p.m.
Sunday School is Sunday at 9 a.m.
Sunday worship with Holy communion is at 10 a.m.

Recycle Trailer
The recycling trailer is in Carmine on Thursdays from 1-4 p.m. at the Carmine Hall.
They accept clean No. 1 and No. 2 plastic bottles and jugs. Please separate them. Note that numbers 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 plastics and plastic bags are not accepted.
Also accepted are dry newspapers, telephone books, magazines, cardboard, paper, junk mail, all colors glass, steel food cans and aluminum cans. Attendants are available to help unload.
