League of Women Voters Adopt A Highway

Volunteers with the League of Women Voters of South Central Texas recently picked up trash and collected recyclables along their Adopt-a-Highway route just west of Schulenburg on Highway 90. They collected several large sized-bags of Highway refuse and one 20-gallon sized bag of aluminum cans and plastic water bottles and two tires. Thank you to the Fayette County Precinct 4 Road and Bridge Department and the Fayette County Recycling Center in Schulenburg for your support with traffic alert lights and for providing recycling collection.
