La Grange Summer Reading Program Gets Wild

Fayette Public Library, in conjunction with the Randolph Recreation Center, invited Wild Things Zoofari to La Grange to teach kids about a variety of animals on Wednesday, June 29.

The presentation was part of the library's Summer Reading Program. Some animals presented were native to Texas, while others were exotic animals that had been rescued.

The goal of the presentation was to educate the kids about misconceptions of the animals, as well as how important it is that these animals are cared for properly.
