La Grange Police Respond to Reported Burglary
La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Nov. 26 through Dec. 3.
Burglary
On Nov. 30, Keeney responded to One St. Mark’s place in response to a reported burglary.
Agency Assist
On Nov. 27, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 500 block of N. Jefferson regarding an agency assist.
On Nov. 29, Officer Thomas Keeney was dispatched to the 600 block of W. State Hwy. 71 bypass regarding an agency assist.
On Nov. 30, Keeney responded to the 800 block of E. Travis for an agency assist.
On Dec. 1, Officer Kevin Currington assisted with a disturbance in the 1100 block Bending Road.
Animal Complaint
On Nov. 26, Animal Control Officer Dean Ahlschlager checked on a dog bite in the 2000 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business.
On Dec. 2, Maxwell located a dog running loose in the 400 block of S. Vail.
On Dec. 3, Officer Brett Meinardus received a call in regard to a complainant hearing coyote howling in the 600 block of N. Washington.
Accident
On Dec. 1, Maxwell was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Main regarding a hit and run accident.
On Dec. 3, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1600 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business in regard to a two vehicle accident. Criminal Mischief
On Nov. 30, Keeney responded to the 100 block of W. Colorado for a criminal mischief incident follow up.
Citizen Assist
On Nov. 26, Meinardus took a report from individual advising that one of the parishioners would be staying in their vehicle in the parking lot.
On Nov. 27, Maxwell was dispatched to the 300 block of N. Madison regarding a citizen assist.
Civil Matter
On Nov. 29, Officer Timothy Medack spoke to a caller regarding a civil matter in the 500 block of W. Lowerline.
On Nov. 30, Medack spoke to a caller in the 100 block of W. Colorado regarding a civil matter.
On Nov. 30, Medack spoke to a caller in the 800 block of S. Vail for a civil matter.
On Dec. 2, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1600 block of N. Jefferson regarding a civil matter.
On Dec. 2, Meinardus responded to the 1500 block of W. State Hwy. 71 in regard to a caller having trouble with an employee.
Disturbance
On Nov. 27, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 1900 block of State Hwy. 7 1 business for a disturbance. Three subjects were arrested.
On Dec. 1, Wostarek was dispatched to the 100 block of W. Colorado in regard to a disturbance.
On Dec. 2, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Ellinger regarding a non-violent family disturbance.
Fraud
On Dec. 1, Maxwell spoke with a subject in the 400 block of S. Lester regarding fraud.
Juvenile Complaint
On Nov. 27, Officer Jeffrey Archerd spoke with a caller regarding a juvenile complaint in the 800 block of S. Vail.
Possession
On Dec. 2, Meinardus responded to the 700 block of S. Jefferson for a one vehicle accident. Upon arrival officers discovered a marijuana vape.
Suspicious Person/Vehicle On Nov. 26, Medack was dispatched to the 500 block of Koening regarding suspicious circumstances.
On Nov. 27, Maxwell spoke with a subject in the 900 block of Horton regarding a suspicious person.
On Nov. 28, Wostarek was dispatched to the 300 block of N. Washington regarding a suspicious vehicle. Officer was unable to locate.
On Nov. 29-Keeney responded to the 100 block of S. Jefferson for a suspicious vehicle.
On Nov. 29, Keeney responded to the 100 block of W. Colorado for a suspicious vehicle.
On Nov. 29, Medack was dispatched to the 100 block of N. Washington regarding a possible wanted subject.
On Nov. 30, Medack checked on a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business.
On Nov. 30, Keeney spoke to an individual in the 800 block of E. Upperline for suspicious people.
On Dec. 1, Medack checked on a suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of W. Travis.
On Dec. 1, Medack checked on a suspicious person in the 1000 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business.
On Dec. 1, Maxwell spoke with a subject regarding vehicles that were parked in the 500 block of E. Pearl.
On Dec. 1, Maxwell was dispatched to the 800 block of S. Jefferson regarding a suspicious vehicle.
On Dec. 1, Archerd spoke with a caller in the 800 block of S. Vail for a suspicious vehicle.
Dec 3, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1000 block of E. Eblin in regard to suspicious vehicle.
Theft
On Dec. 1, Haynie responded to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business regarding a theft.
Welfare Check
On Nov. 28, Maxwell checked on a subject in the 2000 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business.
On Nov. 29, Officer Kevin Currington checked on a subject in the 500 block of S. Washington.
On Nov. 29, Meinardus did a Welfare check on a subject in the 500 block of S. Washington. Spoke with subject and she was fine.
On Nov. 29, Medack was dispatched to the 500 block of W. Lowerline for a welfare concern.
On Nov. 30, Keeney responded to the 2200 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business for a welfare check.
On Dec. 2, Wostarek was dispatched to the 1500 block of N. Von Minden in regard to a welfare check on a male subject. Officer was unable to locate the male subject.
On Dec. 3, Haynie was dispatched to the 1000 block of Hwy. 159 regarding a welfare concern.
Miscellaneous
On Nov. 26, Medack was dispatched to the 300 block of W. Fireside regarding multiple 911 calls.
On Nov. 29, Medack was dispatched to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy 71 businesss for a grass fire.
On Nov. 29, Medack was dispatched to the 200 block of Jimmie regarding a 911 open line.
