La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of March 27 through April 3.

Burglary

On April 1, Keeney was dispatched to the 600 block of N. Horton in response to a person breaking into a resident.

Discharging Firearm

On March 31, Wostarek was dispatched to the 300 block of E. Vine in regard to a disturbance with possible shots fired. Officer arrived on location and spoke with several subjects. Two subjects were arrested and transported to the jail.

Agency Assist

On March 30, Patrolman Justin Koehne checked on an ordinance violation in the 200 block of Rose Mayer.

Assault

On March 29, Patrolman Thomas Keeney spoke with complaint at the police station about an assault.

On March 31, Patrolman David Mohr received a call of an assault by threat in the 100 block of E. Colorado.

Animal Cruelty

On April 2, Patrolman John Wostarek was dispatched to the 200 block of Northpointe in regards to animal cruelty. Officer arrived and took information.

Accident

On March 28, Patrolman Kevin Currington was dispatched to the 1900 block of Hwy. 159 involving an 18-wheeler and a pole on the property.

On March 29, Patrolman Brett Meinardus responded to the 200 block of W. Colorado for a two-vehicle accident.

On March 30, Patrolman Curtis Zwahr responded to the 300 block of N. Jefferson for a two-vehicle accident in the parking lot.

On March 31, Mohr received a call of a two-vehicle accident in the 1700 block of E. State Hwy. 71 Bypass.

On April 1, Meinadus responded to the 2200 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business for a minor accident.

Alarm

On March 27, Wostarek was dispatched to the 2200 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business in regard to an alarm. Officer arrived on location and found the building to be secure.

On March 29, Currington was dispatched to the 400 block of N. Jefferson in regard to an alarm, it was a false alarm.

On March 30, Koehne checked on an alarm in the 2200 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business and found the building secure.

On March 30, Zwahr responded to the 2200 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business for an alarm. Officer found the building secure.

On March 31, Mohr responded to a silent alarm in the 100 block of E. Travis. Officer found it to be a false alarm.

Civil Matter

On March 28, Currington was dispatched to the 500 block of S. Meyer in reference to a civil matter.

On March 29, Keeney was stopped by a subject in the 900 block of E. Colorado about removing a person from a location.

On March 31, Mohr received a call of a tree-trimming dispute in the 700 block of E. Walnut.

Disturbance

On March 27, Wostarek was dispatched to the 200 block of Edgewood in regard to a disturbance. Officer arrived on location and took information.

On March 28, Currington was dispatched to family violence in the 300 block of N. Monroe.

On March 28, Keeney was dispatched to the 500 block of E. Eblin in response to a disturbance.

On April 1, Keeney responded to the 1800 block of N. Jefferson for a report of multiple kids trying to start fights.

On April 2, Keeney was dispatched to the 1800 block of N. Jefferson in response to a father threatening carnival staff.

Found Property

On March 28, Currington was given a found wallet and officer attempted to find owner.

On April 1, Meinardus spoke with caller that found ID cards and credit cards in front of him home.

Juvenile Complaint

On March 30, Zwahr responded to a juvenile complaint in the 500 block of N. Jackson.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle

On March 28, Currington responded to the 300 block of E. Fannin for a suspicious subject. Officer made contact and found the subject was supposed to be at the location.

On March 29, Currington was dispatched to the 100 block of N. Jackson for a confused subject. Officer arrived and found subject was fine and not confused.

On March 29, Meinardus responded to the 200 block of S. Franklin where caller stated she was alone and heard noises outside her home.

On March 30, Zwahr responded to the 100 block of N. Main for a suspicious person outside of the business. The subject advised they were just resting,

On April 2, Keeney was dispatched to the 1700 block of S. Jefferson in response to a strange person on the porch.

Theft

On March 29, Keeney responded to the 200 block of Ellinger in response to complaint of stolen medications.

On April 1, Mohr received a call of theft by deception in the 3000 block of Valenta.

On April 1, Keeney responded to the 300 block of E. Guadalupe in response to a possible theft.

On April 2, Meinardus took a call of a stolen wallet from the 800 block of E. Travis.

Trespassing On March 27,Wostarek was

On March 27,Wostarek was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Ellinger in regard to subjects trespassing. Subjects left after speaking to officer.

Welfare Check

On March 31,Mohr received a call of a welfare check in the 500 block of Koenig.

On April 1,Keeney checked on a subject in the 400-block of S. Jefferson.

Miscellaneous

On March 30, Zwahr checked a business in the 300 block of N. Horton that had an open door. No signs of break in were evident and nothing was disturbed within the building.

On March 30, Koehne spoke with caller about narcotics complaint.

On March 30, Wostarek spoke with a caller in regard to harassment in the 300 block of N. Riverview.

On March 31, Koehne spoke with caller about fraud in the 300 block of E. Fannin.

On April 1, Keeney responded to the 1000 block of Hwy. 159 for passing of counterfeit money.

On April 2, Keeney was dispatched to the 300 lock of E. Camp for loud music. Officer heard no music from the location.

On April 2, Meinardus responded to the 300 block of Northpointe for loud music.
