La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Jan. 1-8.
Accident
On Jan. 2, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 1300 block of N. Jefferson for an auto accident.
Assault
On Jan. 5, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Jefferson in regard to an assault that occurred at a different location.
Burglary
On Jan. 3, Sgt. Travis Anderson spoke with complainant in the 400 block of E. Eblin in regard to a burglary at her storage unit.
Civil Matter
On Jan. 1, Office Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 500 block of W. Lafayette in regard to a civil matter.
On Jan. 6, Officer Kevin Currington responded to the 300 block of N. Horton for a civil matter.
On Jan. 7, Currington was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington for a civil matter.
Disorderly Conduct
On Jan. 1, Haynie observed a subject in the 700 block of W. Colorado shooting fireworks.
On Jan. 1, Haynie was dispatched to the 200 block of Northpointe in regard to fireworks being used in the city limits.
Driving While Intoxicated
On Jan. 1, Haynie arrested a subject in the 1800 block of E. State Hwy 71 bypass for driving while intoxicated.
On Jan. 2, Anderson initiated a possible DWI stop in the 1600 block of N Jefferson, which turned into a pursuit and an eventual DWI arrest.
On Jan. 6, Anderson responded to the 400 block of W.
Colorado for a disturbance.
On Jan. 7, Anderson responded to the 100 block of S. Miller in regards to a disturbance.
On Jan. 7, Currington was dispatched to the 2000 block of W. State Hwy. 71 for a possible disturbance.
Harassment
On Jan. 5, Wostarek was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Jefferson for a harassment call.
On Jan. 7, Anderson received a call in regard to harassment in the 700 block of E.
Fannin.
Reckless Driving
Jan 4, Haynie was dispatched to the 500 block of W. Lowerline in regard to reckless driving.
Suspicious Person/Vehicle On Jan. 2, Keeney spoke with caller in the 200 block of S. Ellinger in response to a suspicious person.
On Jan. 3, Keeney responded to the 200 block of W. Guadalupe in regard to a suspicious person.
On Jan. 4, Haynie was dispatched to the 500 block of Lowerline in regard to a suspicious person.
On Jan. 4, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 200 block of Ellinger Rd. in regard to an open door. Officer arrived on location and spoke with construction worker who was working at the building.
On Jan. 6, Anderson responded to the 600 block of E. Guadalupe for suspicious circumstances.
On Jan. 6, Haynie checked out a suspicious vehicle in the 400 block of E. Fannin On Jan. 7, Currington received a call in the 1000 block of N. Jefferson for a suspicious person, circumstances.
On Jan. 7, Currington was dispatched to the 500 block of Koening Lane for a suspicious person.
On Jan. 7, Anderson received a call about a suspicious person in the 100 block of S. Lynwood.
On Jan. 7, Anderson received a call in regard to a suspicious person in the 1000 block of N. Jefferson.
Theft
On Jan. 2, Keeney spoke with q caller in the 700 block of N. Washington about a burglary at the location.
On Jan. 3, Officer Robin Emmons responded to the 100 block of S. Main for theft from the patio.
