La Grange Police David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Jan. 26-Feb. 2.

Assault

On Jan. 30, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 100 block of S. Reynolds for an assault that occurred at the location.

Animal Complaint

On Jan. 26, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 1100 block of W. State Hwy 71 Bypass regarding an animal complaint.

On Jan. 27, Animal Control Officer Justin Pietsch set a dog trap in the 1000 Block of N. Sunset.

On Jan. 27, Pietsch followed up on a dog bite in the 300 block of Wood Hollow.

Accident

On Jan. 31, Officer Noah Geer was dispatched to the 400 block of N. Main regarding an accident that happened in a private parking lot.

Civil Matter

On Jan. 28, Geer was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Reynolds regarding a civil matter.

On Jan. 31, Geer responded to the 2300 block of W. State Hwy 71 Business regarding a civil matter.

Discharging Firearm

On Feb. 2, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 100 block of Holloway for report of a firearm being discharged.

Public Intoxication

On Jan. 30, Meinardus responded to the 1800 block of E. State Hwy. 71 Bypass for a report of an intoxicated male running out into traffic.

Scam

On Jan. 27, Geer was dispatched to the 100 block of E. Colorado regarding a scam.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle On Jan. 28, Geer was dispatched to the 2300 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business regarding a suspicious person that appeared to be intoxicated.

On Jan. 30, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 600 block of W. Travis regarding a suspicious vehicle. Officer arrested the subject for an outstanding warrant.

On Jan. 30, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1100 block of E. Camp regarding a suspicious person.

Welfare Check

On Jan. 27, Geer was dispatched to the 200 block of E. Pearl regarding a welfare check.

On Jan. 28, Keeney responded to the 500 block of Keonig Lane for a welfare check.

On Jan. 29, Officer Curtis Zwahr responded to the 300 block of S. Jackson for a welfare check.
