La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Sept. 10-16.

Assault

On Sept. 16, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 400 block of E. Lafayette for a subject with a gunshot wound in front of a residence.

Animal Complaint

On Sept. 14, Animal Control Officer Dean Ahlschlager picked up a raccoon on E. Bluffview.

On Sept. 14, Officer Steven Haynie checked on a dog in the roadway in the 100 block of E. Crockett. The dog was transported to the animal shelter.

On Sept. 15, Ahlschlager put two dogs in their back yard in the 200 block of E. Guadalupe.

On Sept. 15, Officer Kevin Currington was dispatched to the 800 block of E. Upperline for a loose dog.

Burglary

On Sept. 12, Currington was dispatched to the 600 block of N. Franklin in reference to a burglary.

On Sept. 15, Officer Timothy Medack was dispatched to the 800 block of E. Walnut in regard to a burglary of a motor vehicle.

On Sept. 15, Currington was dispatched to the 300 block of N. Monroe for burglary of a vehicle.

Citizen Assist

On Sept. 10, Sgt. Travis Anderson received a call for a citizen assist in the 100 block of E. Colorado.

On Sept. 11, Anderson received a call from the 300 block of E. Milam in regard to a city ordinance question that the subject had regarding pellet guns.

Civil Matter

On Sept. 10, Anderson responded to the 300 block of N. Franklin in regard to a civil matter.

On Sept. 10, Officer Steven Haynie responded to the 400 block of N. Horton in regard to a civil matter.

On Sept. 11, Currington responded to the 1600 block of E. 71 Bypass and spoke to a subject about a civil matter.

Disturbance

On Sept. 11, Anderson responded to a disturbance in the 300 block of N. Jefferson.

On Sept. 16, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 400 block of W. Fairgrounds Road to a family disturbance.

Fraud

On Sept. 11, Currington spoke with a subject in the 1700 block of W. State Hwy. 71 about an ongoing case.

Lost Item

On Sept. 15, Anderson spoke with complainant in regard to a lost wallet in the 800 block of S. Reynolds.

Loud Music

On Sept. 16, Keeney responded to the 900 block of E. Fannin for a loud music complaint. Motorist Assist

On Sept. 10, Haynie checked on a motorist in the 900 block of E. Guadalupe.

On Sept. 10, Anderson responded to the 2100 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business in regard to a motorist assist.

Reckless Driving

On Sept. 12, Anderson received a call in regard to a motorcycle in the area of S. Franklin and E. Eblin with no tail or brake lights.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle On Sept. 15, Medack checked on a suspicious person in the 100 block of N. Water.

On Sept. 16, Keeney responded to the 300 block of W. Lafayette for a suspicious person.

Theft

On Sept. 10, Anderson responded to the 300 block of N. Monroe to speak to individual in regard to theft of her cell phone.
