La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Sept. 3-9.

Accident

On Sept. 3, officer Brett Minardus responded to the 1700 block of E. State Hwy. 71 bypass feeder road for an accident, On Sept. 3, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 1300 block of N. Von Minden for an auto accident.

Animal Complaint

On Sept. 3, Keeney responded to the 200 block of W. Colorado in response to an animal complaint.

On Sept. 6, Sgt. Travis Anderson received a call in regard to dogs running loose in the 200 block of S. Jefferson.

On Sept. 6, Animal Control Officer Dean Ahlschlager checked on a dog killing chickens in the 800 block of N. Madison.

On Sept. 7, Ahlschlger picked up a pit bull dog in the 300 block of Diers Lane. The dog was later impounded.

On Sept. 8, Officer Steven Haynie spoke with subject regarding an animal complaint in the 900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business.

Criminal Mischief

On Sept. 4, Haynie was dispatched to the 600 block of S. Madison in regard to criminal mischief.

Civil Matter

On Sept. 4, Officer Timothy Medack was dispatched to the 400 block of W. Colorado in regard to a civil matter.

Disturbance

On Sept. 6, Keeney responded to One St. Mark’s Place in regard to a disturbance.

On Sept. 7, Anderson responded to the 1900 block of Hwy. 159 for a disturbance.

On Sept. 9, Medack was dispatched to the 700 block of Eckel in regard to a disturbance.

On Sept. 9, Medack was dispatched to the 500 block of S. Cindy Lane in regard to a disturbance.

Fire Alarm

On Sept. 3, Keeney responded to the 2300 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business for a report of an electrical fire.

Harassment

On Sept. 4, Keeney responded to the 1100 block of N. Jefferson for a harassment complaint.

On Sept. 5, Medack was dispatched to the 200 block of E. Pearl in regard to harassment.

On Sept. 6-Keeney responded to the 600 block of S. Meyer for a harassment report.

On Sept. 9, Keeney responded to the 700 lock of E. Travis for an harassment complaint. Juvenile Complaint

On Sept. 5, Officer Jeffrey Archerd spoke with a caller in the 700 block of E. Fannin regarding a juvenile complaint.

On Sept. 6, Officer Curtis Zwahr spoke with a caller in the 300 block of S. Jackson in regard to a juvenile complaint.

On Sept. 7, Anderson received a call in regard to a child riding in the lap of a passenger unsecured in the 300 block of E. Travis. The vehicle was a silver minivan traveling east near Napa Auto Parts. Officers could not locate the vehicle. Possession

On Sept. 8, Archerd found a subject in possession of marijuana in the 800 block of S. Vail.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle On Sept. 5, Officer Steven Haynie checked out a suspicious person in the 500 block of E. Pearl.

On Sept. 5, Medack located a suspicious vehicle in the 700 block of Sarah Jo.

On Sept. 5, Haynie was dispatched to the 600 block of N. Vail in regard to suspicious circumstances.

Theft

On Sept. 5, Officer John Wostarek spoke with complainant in the 1600 block of E. State Hwy. 71 about a theft.

Trespassing

On Sept. 4, Wostarek was dispatched to the 1900 block of Hwy. 71 business in regard to trespassing.

Welfare Check

On Sept. 7, Keeney responded to the 1500 block of N. Jefferson on a welfare check.

On Sept. 9, Haynie was dispatched to the 1300 block of W. State Hwy. 71 bypass in regard to a welfare check.

Warrant Arrest

On Sept. 3, Keeney performed a felony warrant arrest in the 100 block of S. State Hwy. 71 bypass access road.
