La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Aug. 6-12.
Agency Assist
On Aug. 10, Officer Kevin Currington assisted government agency on a matter in the 700 block of N. Washington.
Accident
On Aug. 10, Currington was dispatched to the 300 block of N. Madison for an accident.
Citizen Assist
OnAug. 9, Currington was dispatched to the 800 block of N. Madison for vehicle damage.
On Aug. 9, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 1600 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business in regard to a citizen assist.
On Aug. 11, Maxwell spoke with a subject in the 800 block of W. Travis in regard to a citizen assist.
Civil Matter
Aug. 6, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 700 block of Eckel on a civil matter.
On Aug. 8, Officer Timothy Medack was dispatched to E. Bluffview in regard to a civil matter.
On Aug. 9, Officer Jeffrey Archerd was dispatched to the 500 block of N. Monroe in regard to a civil matter.
On Aug. 11, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 1000 block of N. Jefferson for a child custody issue.
Disturbance
On Aug. 7, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 300 block of N. Jefferson in regard to a disturbance.
On Aug. 7, Maxwell was dispatched to the 300 block of Diers Lane in regard to a disturbance.
OnAug. 9, Currington was dispatched to the 300 block of E. Travis for a disturbance between staff and customer.
Loud Music
On Aug. 7, Archerd was dispatched to the 1000 block of Carroll Lane in regard to loud music. Officer spoke with subject and subject turned down the music.
Motorist Assist
On Aug. 6, Sgt. Tavis Anderson received a call for a disabled vehicle in the roadway at E. Travis and N. Jefferson. A tire and wheel came off and officer provided traffic control while vehicle was towed from the roadway.
On Aug. 7, Medack was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Travis in regard to a motorist assist.
On Aug. 8, Officer Curtis Zwahr assisted with a vehicle in the 300 block of E. Travis. Vehicle appeared to be broken down in the roadway.
Parking Violation
On Aug. 7, Medack was dispatched to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy 71 business in regard to a parking violation.
Reckless Driving
On Aug. 6, Keeney responded to the intersection of S. Reynolds and E. Travis for a reckless driving report.
Sexual Assault
On Aug. 6, Anderson was contacted by complainant in regard to a sexual assault of a child.
Suspicious Vehicle/Person On Aug. 6, Anderson observed a suspicious vehicle behind St. Mark’s professional building at 2 St. Mark’s Place.
On Aug. 6, Keeney observed a suspicious vehicle in the 1800 block of E. State Hwy. 71 bypass.
OnAug. 9, Currington was dispatched to the 100 block of Joe Hoeffer for suspicious circumstances.
On Aug. 9, Anderson received a call in regard to a suspicious person in the 1000 block of N. Franklin.
On Aug. 10, Keeney viewed a suspicious vehicle in the 2000 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business.
On Aug. 12, Maxell checked on a suspicious vehicle in the 400 block of S. Main.
Traffic Hazard
On Aug. 8, Zwahr responded to the 500 block of E. Colorado for an object blocking the roadway. Object had been removed before officer’s arrival.
