La Grange Police Report
La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his departments responded to during the week of May 7-13.
Accident
On May 8, Sgt. Travis Anderson responded to the 100 block of FM 609 for a twovehicle accident.
On May 11, Officer Jeffrey Archerd was dispatched to the 1900 block of E. State Hwy. 71 for a two-vehicle accident.
Criminal Mischief
On May 8, Keeney responded to the 1800 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business in regard to a criminal mischief report.
On May 9, Anderson responded to the 200 block of E. Travis in regard to criminal mischief, burglary of a coin operated machine.
Civil Matter
On May 7, Archerd was dispatched to the 1900 block of State Hwy. 71 Business in regard to a civil matter.
On May 13, Meinardus responded to the 1000 block of E. Salm for a child custody issue.
Disturbance
On May 8, Keeney responded to the 100 block of N. River in regard to a disturbance.
On May 9, Officer Kevin Currington was dispatched to One St. Marks Place for a family disturbance.
On May 11, Archerd was dispatched to the 200 block of Ellinger Road in regard to disturbance and possible threats. Officer located a controlled substance at the location.
Fraud
On May 8, Anderson responded to the 400 block of N.
Main for possible fraud.
Runaway
On May 7, Archerd was dispatched to the 500 block of E. Walnut in regard to a runaway.
Suspicious Vehicle/Person
On May 7, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business to speak to a subject regarding suspicious circumstances.
On May 11, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 500 block of E. Pearl in regard to a suspicious vehicle. Officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
On May 12, Haynie checked on two suspicious vehicles in the 800 block of S. Vail.
On May 13, Keeney spoke with a caller in regard to a suspicious person in the 900 block of N. Jefferson.
Theft
On May 7, Wostarek was dispatched to the 1800 block of W. Sate Hwy 71 business in regard to a theft.
On May 8, Investigator Kenny Schmidt assisted Comal County with a theft of two trailers.
On May 10, Archerd was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Main in regard to a theft.
Warrant Arrest
On May 12, Keeney was on scene for a felony arrest in the 100 block of N. Monroe.
Welfare Check
On May 13, Anderson checked the area in the 400 block of S. Jefferson for a male sitting on a three-wheel bicycle and not moving anywhere. Officer checked the area but could not find the male subject.
Miscellaneous
On May 7, Archered was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington in regard to a subject that was trespassing.
On May 7, Archerd was dispatched to the 500 block of N. Jefferson in regard to a stolen vehicle.
On May 9, Currington was dispatched to the 800 block of N. Eckel in reference to loud music. Officer made contact and subjects turned music off.
