La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of June 26 through July 4 .

Assault

On June 28, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 800 block of S. Jefferson in regard to a subject causing a disturbance. Subject was arrested and booked into the Fayette Count Jail.

Agency Assist

On July 2, Officer Justin Koehne was informed of a water leak in the 300 block of N Monroe. Officer contacted the city utilities about the situation.

On July 3, Maxwell was dispatched to One St. Mark’s Place in regard to an agency assist.

Animal Complaint

On June 29, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 1000 block of N. Jefferson where caller reported a dog had been shot.

On July 2, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 1000 block of State Hwy. 71 business in regard to a loose Longhorn.

On July 2, Wostarek was dispatched to the 700 block of E Travis in regard to an animal complaint.

Criminal Mischief

On June 28, Wostarek was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Washington in regard to criminal mischief.

Civil Matter

On June 30, Officer Kevin Currington was dispatched to the 200 block of E. Pearl for a civil matter. Officer was unable to make contact with either party.

On June 26, Sgt. Travis Anderson responded to the 700 block of N Main for a possible civil matter.

On June 27, Wostarek was dispatched to the 300 block of Wood Hollow in regard to a civil matter.

Disturbance

On June 30, Currington was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Ellinger for reported threats. One subject was given a criminal trespass warning.

Burglary

On July 3, Wostarek was dispatched to the 200 block of Ellinger Rd. in regard to a burglary.

Forgery

On June 27, Wostarek responded to the 1600 block of N. Jefferson for counterfeit money.

Loud Music/Person

On June 26, Currington responded to the 1000 block of N. Madison in reference to loud banging. Officer spoke to the subject and advised him to stop.

On June 26, Anderson responded to loud music in the 500 block of W. Lowerline. Officer located the source of the music and it was turned off.

On July 3, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 1000 block of N. Madison in regard to an irate subject.

Public Intoxication

On July 2, Maxwell was dispatched to the 800 block of N. Jefferson in regard to a subject that was possibly intoxicated.

On July 2, Maxwell arrested a subject for public intoxication in the 800 block of E. Milam. Subject was transported to the Fayette County jail.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle

On June 27, Currington was dispatched to the 100 block of W. Fannin for a subject in the back yard who hopped the fence. Upon officers arrival the prowler had already left.

On July 3, Officer Justin Koehne spoke to complainant that advised a vehicle drove past barricades in the 800 block of W. Travis.

On July 3, Maxwell was dispatched to the 800 block of E. Lafayette in regard to a suspicious person.

Theft

On June 26, Currington was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington for a theft.

On July 2, Maxwel was dispatched to the 600 block of S. Madison for a theft.

Trespassing

On June 28, Wostarek was dispatched to the 1200 block of E. Eblin in regard to trespassing.

On June 30, Meinardus responded to the 1000 block of Hwy. 159 for subject previously criminally trespassed had returned.

Terroristic Threat

On June 30, Currington responded to the 200 block of E. Cedar for threat.

Welfare Check

On June 28, Wostarek was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Main in regard to a welfare check.

On June 30, Currington conducted a welfare check in the 200 block of S Monroe. Subject was o.k.

Miscellaneous

On June 28, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 1000 block of Fannin for possible found narcotics.

On July 2, Koehne spoke with a caller about a possible missing person.

On July 3, Koehne conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of E. Hwy. 71 business and subjects were issued a citation for minor in possession.
