La Grange Police Report
La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of June 19-26.
Assault
On June 19, Officer Thomas Keeney spoke with complainant in the 700 block of E. Lafayette regarding an earlier incident at another location.
On June 19, Officer John Wostarek responded to the 500 block of E. Pearl for an assault.
On June 24, Wostarek was dispatched to the 900 block of N. Jefferson in regard to an assault.
Animal Complaint
On June 22, Officer Justin Koehne located a dog walking on the street in the 400 block of N. Jackson. Dog was taken to the animal shelter.
Citizen Assist
On June 19, Keeney spoke with complainant in the 200 block of S. College at the police station about being able to take off handcuffs.
On June 22, Keeney spoke with complainant about his drivers’ license being used in a scam.
On June 22, Koehne responded to the 500 block of Koenig for a water leak and then notified apartment manager.
Criminal Mischief
On June 22, Wostarek was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Lafayette in regard to criminal mischief.
Civil Matter
On June 23, Wostarek was dispatched to the 900 block of N. Jefferson in regard to a civil matter.
Driving While Intoxicated
On June 25, Sgt Travis Anderson initiated a traffic stop in the 400 block of E. Colorado, which resulted in a DWI and PCS arrest.
Disturbance
On June 19, Anderson received a call in regard to a fight in progress in the 2300 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business.
On June 19, Anderson responded to a verbal disturbance in the 200 block of E. Pearl.
On June 21, Anderson responded to the 200 block of S. Ellinger for a disturbance.
On June 21, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 1400 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business for loud yelling.
Harassment
On June 22, Koehne responded to One St. Mark’s Place for a patient who was harassing the staff.
On June 23, Meinardus responded to the 100 block of W. Crockett for a subject yelling at complainant because he is getting evicted. Officer issued the subject a criminal trespass warning.
Loud Music/ Person
On June 20, Wostarek was dispatched to the 100 block of N. Madison.
In regard to a subject yelling. Officer arrived on location and spoke with subject. Subject was advised to stop yelling.
On June 24, Currington was dispatched to the 100 block of N. Madison in reference to a loud tenant.
On June 25, Currington was dispatched to the 300 block of W. Lafayette in regard to loud music. Officer traced the loud music down and advised subject to turn it down.
Public Intoxication
On June 25, Officer Kevin Currington was dispatched to the 700 block of E. Walnut for a subject banging on the door. The subject was arrested for public intoxication.
Suspicious Person/vehicle
On June 19, Anderson received a call of a suspicious vehicle driving in the 700 block of S. Madison.
On June 20, Wostarek was dispatched to the 700 block of E. Lafayette in regard to a suspicious vehicle.
On June 21, Anderson responded to the 400 block of E. Lafayette in regard to a suspicious person.
On June 21, Curringon was dispatched to the 500 block of N. Jackson for a suspicious female carrying a ladder. Officer checked the area but subject was already gone.
On June 22, Keeney spoke with a complainant in the 500 block of E. Pearl for a subject ringing his doorbell late at night.
On June 23, Wostarek was dispatched to the 200 block of S. College in regard to a suspicious person.
Theft
On June 19, Wostarek was dispatched to the 900 block of E. Camp in regard to a theft.
On June 21, Meinardus responded to the 200 block of S. Ellinger for theft from vehicles.
Terroristic Threat
On June 20, Currington spoke with subject in the 2000 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business about rowdy subjects at the business and threats.
Trespassing
On June 22, Wostarek was dispatched to the 900 block of N. Jefferson in regard to a subject trespassing.
On June 22, Keeney responded to the 1700 block of E. State Hwy. 71 bypass in response to subjects who were possibly trespassing.
On June 24, Meinardus responded to the 100 block of E. Travis for a subject who had been asked to leave and then returned.
On June 24, Anderson received a call in regard to a trespasser in the 700 block of N. Jackson.
On June 24, Meinardus responded to the 100 block of E. Colorado for individual trespassing. Officer issued subject a criminal trespass warning.
Welfare Check
On June 25, Anderson responded to the 700 block of N. Main in regard to a welfare check.
Miscellaneous
On June 20, Meinardus responded to the 200 block of E. Colorado for a low hanging line. Officer was unable to locate.
On June 21, Curringon was dispatched to the 700 block of Hwy. 77 business for a subject who jumped into river from bridge. Subject was transported by EMS.
