    La Grange Police Investigating Thefts in October

La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Oct. 9-16.

Theft

On Oct. 12, Maxwell was dispatched to the 600 block of W. Travis in regards to theft.

On Oct. 13, Maxwell was dispatched to the 800 block of S. Jefferson in regard to theft.

On Oct. 15, Anderson responded to the 100 block of N. Franklin in regards to a theft at the location.

Alarm

On Oct. 15, Sgt. Travis Anderson responded to an alarm in the 700 block of N. Rosenberg. Officer checked the residence and it was secure and resident was contacted.

Animal Complaint

On Oct. 15, Anderson responded to an animal complaint in the 900 block of Mode Lane.

On Oct. 15, Anderson responded to the 700 block of N. Madison in regards to two loose dogs.

Accident

On Oct. 12, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 1100 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business for an accident.

On Oct. 15, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 100 block of FM 609 for an auto accident.

Disturbance

On Oct. 9, Anderson responded to the 300 block of Woodhollow for a disturbance at the location.

On Oct.12, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 700 block of E. Lafayette in regards to a disturbance; Subjects were separated for the night.

On Oct. 14, Anderson responded to the 500 block of E. Lafayette in regard to a disturbance.

Harassment

On Oct. 12, Maxwell spoke with individual in regards to harassment.

Panhandling

On Oct. 15, Anderson responded to the 100 block of W. Travis for panhandling at the location.

Parking Violation

On Oct. 9, Maxwell was dispatched to the 900 block of S. Vail for vehicles blocking the roadway.

On Oct. 15, Anderson responded to the 1600 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business for a parking complaint.

On Oct. 15, Anderson responded to the 200 block of Svoboda for a parking complaint.

Reckless Driving

On Oct. 9, Maxwell was dispatched to the 2300 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business in regard to a male subject that was driving recklessly.

Suspicious Person/vehicle

On Oct. 9, Maxwell was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Main in regard to a suspicious person.

On Oct. 9, Anderson responded to the intersection of E. Eblin and S. Meyer for a suspicious person.

On Oct. 12, Officer Kevin Currington checked on a vehicle with dome light on in the 300 block of E. Travis.

On Oct. 12, Officer Justin Koehne responded to the 300 block of E. Travis for a suspicious person acting strange.

On Oct. 14, Wostarek was dispatched to the 200 block of N. Lee in regards to suspicious person walking down the street, Officer searched the area and could not locate anyone in the area.

On Oct. 14, Anderson responded the 2200 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business for a suspicious person.

Trespassing

On Oct. 12, Wostarek was dispatched to the 600 block of W. Lafayette in regard to subjects trespassing. Officer arrived on location searched the area and were unable to locate anyone in the area.

Welfare Check

On Oct. 11, Keeney spoke with caller on a situation for a welfare concern.

On Oct. 13, Maxwell spoke with a subject in regards to welfare check in the 1000 block of N. Von Minden.

On Oct. 14, Anderson responded to the 1000 block of N. Madison for a welfare check.

On Oct. 15, Anderson responded to the 400 block of S. Lester for a welfare concern.

Miscellaneous

On Oct. 11, Keeney spoke with a caller about a missing license plate.

On Oct. 11, Currington checked on loud music in the 700 block of E. Helter. Vehicle was gone upon officers arrival.

On Oct. 12, Maxwell was dispatched to the 100 block of E. Travis in regard to subjects loitering and asking for money in the 100 block of E Travis.
