Police Report
La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Dec. 3-10: Accident
On Dec. 3, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 1600 block of W. State Hwy 71 business regarding a two-vehicle accident.
On Dec. 8, Officer Kevin Currington was dispatched to the 400 block of S. Jefferson for an accident.
On Dec. 10, Sgt. Travis Anderson responded to the 500 block of N. Jefferson regarding a parked vehicle being struck overnight at that location.
Animal Complaint
On Dec. 3, Officer Brett Meinardus spoke with a caller regarding hearing coyotes howling in the 600 block of N. Washington.
On Dec. 8, Officer Thomas Keeney observed a loose dog in the 700 block of E. Fannin. Animal control was contacted.
On Dec. 10, Anderson received a call in regard to loose dogs in the 300 block of N. Madison.
Burglary
On Dec. 4, Currington was dispatched to the 1600 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business for burglary of a vehicle.
Disturbance
On Dec. 5, Keeney responded to the 400 block of W. Colorado for a disturbance.
On Dec. 5, Medack was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington regarding a disturbance.
On Dec. 10, Anderson responded to the 500 block of Cindy Lane for a disturbance.
Loud Music
On Dec. 10, Anderson received a call for loud music in the 1000 block of Carroll Lane.
Suspicious Vehicle/Person
On Dec. 3, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1000 block of E. Eblin regarding a suspicious vehicle.
Theft
On Dec. 6, Maxwell spoke with a subject regarding a theft in the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business.
On Dec. 8, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 2400 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business regarding a possible theft.
On Dec. 9, Anderson received a call regarding a theft in the 900 block of E. Travis.
Trespassing
On Dec. 6, Hayne was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington regarding a criminal trespass warning.
On Dec. 7, Officer Timothy Medack was dispatched to the 200 block of W. Colorado regarding a criminal trespass warning.
Welfare Check
On Dec. 3, Haynie was dispatched to the 1000 block of Hwy. 159 regarding a welfare concern.
On Dec. 6, Maxwell was dispatched to the 100 block of N. Water regarding a welfare check.
On Dec. 8, Currington was dispatched to the 300 block of N. Monroe for a welfare check.
On Dec. 10, Anderson received a call regarding a welfare concern in the 500 block of N. Jefferson and a possible disturbance.
On Dec. 10, Anderson responded to the 300 block of Woodhollow for a welfare concern.
