La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Oct. 23-30.

Assault

On Oct. 29, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 500 block of W. Fairgrounds Rd. where complainant stated her boyfriend assaulted her and he had left the location.

On Nov. 2, Officer Robin Emmons responded to the Middle school for juvenile threat to another student.

Accident

On Oct. 23, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 2200 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business in regard to a twovehicle accident. A citation was issued.

On Oct. 24, Keeney responded to the 1000 block of E. Travis in response to an auto accident.

On Oct. 24, Keeney responded to the 2200 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business in response to an auto accident.

On Oct. 25, Keeney responded to the 100 block of Ellinger Rd .in response to an auto accident.

On Oct. 26, Haynie was dispatched to the 1000 block of Florence in regard to a twovehicle accident.

On Oct. 28, Meinardus responded to the 200 block of S. Jefferson for a vehicle attempting to turn into a parking space and struck the vehicle and building.

On Nov. 1, Koehne responded to the 2200 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business. Officer met with subjects who were involved in an accident. Both parties were issued blue forms.

On Nov. 3, Keeney responded to the 1900 block of Hwy.159 for an accident.

Burglary

On Nov. 1, Haynie was dispatched to the 200 block of W. Fairgrounds Rd. in regard to a burglary.

Criminal Mischief

On Oct. 27, Haynie was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Ellinger in regard to criminal mischief.

On Oct. 28, Officer John Wostarek responded to the 1700 block of E. State Hwy. 71 for criminal mischief.

On Nov. 3, Keeney spoke with individual in the 900 block of N. Jefferson in response to a report of criminal mischief.

Open Door Business

On Oct. 29, Officer Kevin Currington discovered a forced open door in the 500 block of Fairgrounds Rd. while checking building.

Reckless Driving

On Oct. 29, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 1900 block of Hwy. 159 for a reckless driver.

Suspicious Vehicle/ Person

On Oct. 26, Haynie was dispatched to the 1000 block of W. Hwy. 71 business in regard to a suspicious vehicle parked under the river bridge.

On Oct. 26, Wostarek was dispatched to the 800 block of N. Jefferson in regard to a suspicious person.

On Oct. 29, Currington was dispatched to the 500 W. Fairgrounds Rd. for subjects in fairgrounds.

On Oct. 29, Meinardus received a call in regard to a black Mustang repeatedly circling the block in the 400 block of Roitsch. Officer checked the area but could not locate the vehicle.

Trespassing

On Oct. 24, Meinardus responded to the 1000 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business for a disturbance with a subject. Officer asked the subject to leave location and subject complied.

On Oct. 28, Wostarek was dispatched to the 900 block of N. Horton in regard to a subject trespassing. Subject left before officers arrival.

On Nov. 4, Koehne spoke with complainant in the 900 block of N. Jefferson about subjects trespassing on his neighbor’s property.

Civil Matter

On Oct. 24, Meinardus responded to the 900 block of E. Travis in regard to a civil matter.

Warrant Arrest

On Oct. 26, Wostarek arrested a subject on an outstanding warrant and possession of a controlled substance in the 400 block of N. Jefferson.

Theft

On Oct. 24, Keeney spoke with the Walmart Manager about a theft that had occurred.

On Oct. 25, Keeney spoke with a caller in regard to a theft.

On Oct. 26, Haynie spoke with complainant in the 100 block of S. Reynolds in regard to a theft.

On Oct. 28, Keeney spoke with a caller in the 700 block of N. Madison about a stolen bike.

On Oct. 28, Keeney spoke with the Walmart Manager about a theft.

On Oct. 30, Keeney responded to the 600 block of N. Washington for a theft.

Welfare Check

On Oct. 27, Meinardus took a report of a subject on an adult tricycle trying to cross the road very slowly in the 400 block of S. Washington. Officer arrived but subject had crossed the road.

Miscellaneous

On Oct. 24, Keeney spoke with a caller in regard to a noise complaint in the 800 block of N. Eckel.

On Oct. 27, Wostarek was dispatched to the 1000 block of N. Madison in regard to a loud person.

On Oct. 31, Haynie was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington in regard to smoke in the area.

Discharging Firearms

On Nov. 3, Sgt. Travis Anderson responded to the 100 block of Ella Lane for sounds of discharging firearms in the area.

Possession

On Nov. 1, Haynie stopped a vehicle in the 500 block of S. Main and conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle. The subject was cited and released.
