Police Report
La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of July 23-29 .
Accident
On July 24, Officer Timothy Medack was dispatched to the 1900 block of Hwy. 159 for a vehicle accident.
On July 26, Sgt. Travis Anderson responded to the 100 block of Cedar for an auto accident.
On July 27, Officer Kevin Currington responded to the 300 block of N. Jefferson for an accident. No injuries.
On July 28, Medack was dispatched to the 700 block of S. Jefferson for an auto accident.
On July 28, Officer Curtis Zwahr responded to the intersection of Colorado and N. Jefferson for a two-vehicle minor accident.
Animal Complaint
On July 24, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 1900 lock of W. State Hwy. 71 business in regard to an animal complaint.
On July 27, Currington was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Travis for two animals in a vehicle.
On July 28, Maxwell was dispatched to W. Lafayette and North River in regard to an animal complaint.
Criminal Mischief
On July 28, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 500 block of Koenig Lane in regard to criminal mischief.
Civil Matter
On July 25, Medack was dispatched to the 200 block of E. Pearl in regard to a civil matter.
On July 26, Officer Brett Meinardus spoke with caller in the 100 block of Joy in regard to child custody issue.
On July 28, Maxwell spoke with a subject in the 900 block of N. Jefferson in regard to a civil matter.
On July 28, Zwahr spoke with a caller in the 400 block of W. Colorado in regard to a civil matter.
Disturbance
On July 26, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 200 block of S. Ellinger for a nonviolent family disturbance.
On July 27, Keeney was dispatched to the 900 block of N. Jefferson in regard to a non-family disturbance.
On July 28, Medack was dispatched to the 600 block of S. Jefferson in regard to a disturbance.
On July 29, Haynie was dispatched to the 500 block of S. Cindy Lane in regard to a family disturbance.
Juvenile Complaint
On July 28, Maxwell was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Brown in regard to a juvenile complaint.
Loud Music
On July 24, Maxwell was dispatched to the 100 block of N. River in regard to loud music.
On July 27, Keeney responded to the 700 block of N. Eckel in response to loud music.
On July 27, Anderson received a call of loud noise in the 600 block of W. Colorado.
Reckless Driving
On July 23, Keeney responded to the 900 block of E. Lafayette for a reckless driver complaint.
On July 27, Meinardus received a call of reported three vehicles driving recklessly in the 700 block of N. Monroe. Officer did not locate the vehicles.
On July 27, Anderson received a call in regard to a vehicle driving recklessly, excessive speed in the area of E. Camp and N. Monroe.
Scam
On July 25, Medack was dispatched to the 500 block of N. Jefferson in regard to a scam.
Suspicious Person/Vehicle On July 23, Currington was dispatched to the 500 block of Koenig Lane for a suspicious subject.
On July 24, Haynie spoke with a subject in regard to a suspicious phone call in the 700 block of Rosenberg Lane.
On July 24, Officer Jeffrey Archerd spoke with a subject that was hanging around behind Snappy’s in the 2400 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business. The subject left property.
On July 25, Haynie checked on a suspicious person in the 400 block of S. Franklin.
On July 26, Zwahr searched the 800 block of W. Travis for a suspicious subject. Subject was gone upon officer’s arrival.
On July 26, Keeney responded to the 2300 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business for a suspicious vehicle.
On July 27, Currington was dispatched to the 100 block of E. Colorado in regard to nonmail dumped in mail box.
Trespassing
On July 24, Zwahr spoke with caller in the 500 block of Koenig Lane in regard to a criminal trespass warning.
On July 24, Archerd spoke with a subject in the 500 block of Koenig Lane about a criminal trespass warning.
Terroristic Threat
On July 28, Medack was dispatched to the 300 block of E. Vine in regard to a terroristic threat.
Theft
On July 24, Medack was dispatched to the 1600 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business in regard to a theft.
On July 28, Medack was dispatched to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business in regard to a theft.
On July 28, Medack was dispatched to the 200 block of E. Travis in regard to a theft.
Traffic Hazard
On July 27, Currington observed a vehicle driving on Hwy. 71 with a brake or wheel on fire and smoking.
Welfare Check
On July 24, Medack was dispatched to the 100 block of N. Main in regard to a welfare check. Subject was fine.
On July 26, Archerd was dispatched to the 700 block of Hwy. 71 business in regard to a subject walking in roadway. Officer was unable to locate.
On July 26, Currington was dispatched to the 300 bock of N. Monroe in regard to a welfare concern.
On July 26, Currington was dispatched to the 300 block of E. Live Oak in regard to a subject sitting down along the road.
On July 27, Currington was dispatched to the 500 block of W. Lowerline for a welfare concern.
On July 29, Medack was dispatched to the 400 block of W. Colorado in regard to a welfare check.
Warrant Arrest
On July 24, Medack arrested a subject on an outstanding warrant in the 200 block of N. Main.
