La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of June 11-17.

Assault

On June 15, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 1700 block of E. State Hwy. 71 bypass in response to an assault.

Agency Assist

On June 11, Sgt. Travis Anderson checked by with Fayette County Sheriff’s Unit 814 on a disturbance in the 200 block of Bending Road.

On June 13, Officer Curtis Zwahr assisted Deputy with traffic control in a roadway hazard on State Hwy. 71.

Accident

On June 12, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 200 block of W. Live Oak in regard to a two-vehicle accident.

On June 12, Officer Jeffery Arched was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Travis in regard to a vehicle accident. Blue form issued.

On June 14, Archerd was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Reynolds in regard to a twovehicle accident. On June 16, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 1900 block of Hwy. 159 in regard to a two-vehicle accident. Took report and citation was issued.

Animal Complaint

On June 11, Keeney responded to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy 71 business for an animal complaint.

On June 13, Maxwell was dispatched to the 200 block of N. Main in regard to an animal complaint.

On June 13, Animal Control Officer Justin Pietsch got a deer out of the fence in the 200 block of N. Main.

On June 13, Pietsch talked to the owner of a dog in the 200 block of Edgewood that was out. Dog was returned to owner.

On June 14, Anderson talked to complainant in the 500 block of S. Main regarding a bee keeper.

On June 17, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1700 block of Old Plum Highway in regard to loose livestock.

Citizen Assist

On June 11, Keeney assisted a citizen in the 500 block of E. Pearl.

On June 11, Office Brett Meinardus spoke to a caller that requested assistance getting gas to make it home.

On June 11, Meinardus responded to the 400 block of E. Travis to assist a citizen jumping her car battery.

On June 14, Zwahr responded to the 400 block of S. Jefferson in regard to a subject locked in their home. Officer was able to open the residence from the outside.

Criminal Mischief

On June 12, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 500 block of E. Milam in regard to criminal mischief.

On June 16, Meinardus responded to the 700 block of N. Washington where caller reported someone threw a rock through the house window.

Disturbance

On June 15, Anderson received a call in regard to a disturbance in the 700 block of N. Washington.

On June 16, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 800 block of N. Monroe in regard to a family disturbance.

On June 17, Maxwell was dispatched to the 200 block of E. Colorado in regard to a disturbance.

Harassment

On June 12, Maxwell spoke to a subject in the 400 block of N. Horton in regard to harassment.

Juvenile Complaint

On June 17, Wostarek was dispatched to the 500 block of W. Lowerline in regard to a juvenile complaint.

Loitering

On June 16, Archerd was dispatched to the 1600 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business in regard to a subject loitering. Officer spoke to subject and subject left.

On June 17, Wostarek was dispatched to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy.71 business in regard to a subject loitering. Subject was issued a trespass warning.

Public Intoxication

On June 16, Haynie was dispatched to the 2300 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business and arrested a subject for public intoxication.

Suspicious Person/vehicle On June 13, Archerd was dispatched to the 200 block of E. Pearl in regard to a possible suspicious person inside the residence. Residence was cleared.

On June 14, Keeney responded to the 900 bock of E. Guadalupe in regard to a suspicious person.

On June 14, Anderson received call for a suspicious person in the 500 block of E. Travis.

On June 15, Meinardus responded to the 300 block of S. Diers Lane for a truck parked in front of her business. Owner was contacted and vehicle was moved.

On June 15, Keeney responded to the 700 block of N. Washington to check on the welfare of a suspicious person.

On June 16, Wostarek was dispatched to the 300 block of E. Cedar in regard to a suspicious person.

On June 16, Maxwell was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington in regard to several subjects trespassing. One subject was arrested and transported to the Fayette County Jail.

On June 16, Maxwell was dispatched to the 500 block of W. Lowerline in regard to a suspicious person. Officer arrested subject for public intoxication and transported to the Fayette County Jail.

Sexual Assault

On June 14, Anderson received a call-in regard to a possible sexual assault in the 300 block of E. Pecan.

Terroristic Threat

On June 13, Wostarek spoke with a caller in the 400 block of N. Main in regard to information on a threat.

Theft

On June 11, Meinardus talked with resident in the 1400 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business for an item taken from her porch.

On June 12, Haynie spoke with a subject in the 400 block of N. Monroe in regard to a theft.

On June 13, Maxwell checked on suspicious subjects in the 1500 block of W. State Hwy. 71. Subject was later arrested.

On June 13, Zwahr responded to the 200 lock of N. Water in regard to a stolen bicycle.

Welfare Check

On June 11, Anderson received a call in regard to a welfare check in the 500 block of Cindy Lane.

On June 13, Wostarek was dispatched to the 1200 Block of Carrol Lane in regard to a welfare check.

On June 13, Haynie was dispatched to the 1000 block of N. Madison in regard to a welfare check.

On June 14, Archerd was dispatched toe 1600 block of W. State hwy. 71 business in regard to a welfare check. Subject was checked out by EMS and was determined to have no health issues.

Miscellaneous

On June 11, Keeney spoke to a caller about credit card abuse in the 1800 block of E. State Hwy. 71 bypass.

On June 12, Meinardus was dispatched to the 900 block of S. Washington for loud music.

On June 12, Archerd was dispatched to the 2100 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business in regard to a motorist assist.

On June 12, Haynie was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington in regard to trespassing.

On June 12, Wostarek was dispatched to the 1700 block of N. Jefferson in regard to a vehicle fire.
