La Grange Officers Respond to Fraud Reports
La Grange Police David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of 17-24.
Fraud
On April 20, Officer Brett Meinardus took report from caller about fraud.
On April 23, Keeney responded to the 1900 block of Hwy. 159 in response to a minor using a fake driver license.
Accident
On April 21, Sgt. Travis Anderson responded to the intersection of E. Colorado and N. Franklin for a two-vehicle accident.
On April 22, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 2000 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business in regard to an accident in the parking lot. Officer issue blue forms to both parties.
On April 22, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 500 block of S. Jefferson for an accident.
Animal Complaint
On April 20, Animal Control Officer Dean Ahlschlager checked on roosters in the 800 block of Helter.
Assault
On April 20, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington in regard to an assault. Officer took information.
Alarm
On April 18, Wostarek was dispatched to the 400 block of N. Jefferson in regard to an alarm. Officer found the building secure.
Civil Matter
On April 18, Maxwell responded to the 100 block of E. Travis in regard to a child custody matter.
On April 21, Officer Kevin Currington responded to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy 71 Business for a civil matter concerning a loud customer. Subject was not there when officer spoke to the calling subject.
Counterfeit Money
On April 19 Maxwell was dispatched to the 100 block of N. Washington in regards to a bill that was possibly counterfeited.
Disturbance
On April 21, Currington was dispatched to One St. Marks Place for a subject refusing to get out of car. Officer met with subjects.
Disturbance
On April 22, Keeney responded to the 2000 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business in response to a disturbance.
On April 23, Maxwell was dispatched to the 2300 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business in regard to a disturbance.
Suspicious Person/Vehicle
On April 18, Keeney responded to the 1900 block of Hwy. 159 for suspicious vehicle. No vehicle was found.
On April 18, Currington was dispatched to the 1000 block of E Travis for a suspicious person that rang the doorbell and left. Officer checked the area.
On April 19, Wostarek was dispatched to the 600 block of N. College for a suspicious person. Officer searched the area but was unable to locate anyone in the area.
On April 20, Anderson received a call in regards to a suspicious person walking down the street in the 300 block of W. Northline.
On April 21, Anderson responded to the 1000 block of Spring Loop for a suspicious vehicle.
On April 21, Currington was dispatched to the 2800 block of N. Hwy. 77 for a suspicious vehicle.
Terroristic Threat
On April 17, Currington was dispatched to the 200 block of Ellinger for possible threats. Officer took information.
Theft
On April 19, Keeney responded to the 200 block of Ellinger and took a report of a theft.
On April 19, Maxwell was dispatched to the 2000 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business in regard to a theft and criminal mischief. The subjects fled the location and were later caught. One subject was arrested for theft and criminal mischief.
On April 20, Currington was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Travis for possible shoplifters. Officer arrived and subjects had left the location.
