La Grange Knights of Columbus Present Scholarships To Local Youth

The Knights of Columbus Council No. 2574 of La-Grange has had the privilege over the years to be able to give hundreds of scholarships to local students. The Knights of Columbus Scholarship Program has been made possible through the generous donations of the community through the Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament, drivethru dinners, and through independent donations.

The Knights of Columbus Council No. 2574 is blessed to have many members, wives and youth who graciously volunteer and assist in making this Scholarship Program and fundraisers a success.

This year has allowed the Knights to give over $22,000 in scholarships.

Scholarships are presented to recipients in honor of deceased Knights of Columbus members. Many Knights devote thousands of volunteer hours for the many charities the Knights give to. Each year, the Scholarship Program honors those fallen Knights.

Those honored and receive scholarships are pictured below. Not pictured, however, receiving Knights of Columbus No. 2574 Scholarships are Mia Solorzano, Becca Heinrich, Megan Brothers, Gerald Rodriguez. Also not pictured but receiving a scholarship in honor of Wilbert and Mary Mueller was Joseph Mueller and receiving a Monsignor Harry Mazurkiewicz Scholarship, but not able to be present, was Lauren Kosler.

The Knights congratulate all recipients for their hard work and determination in making this world a better place and for allowing us to continue to honor, through these scholarships, all our Brother Knights of this Council who have passed away.
