Kuskie Wins Mutton Bustin’

On Thursday, March 5, 5-year-old Kaleb Kuskie of Richmond participated in Mutton Bustin’ at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, held in NRG Stadium. He rode his sheep the farthest and was selected as that night’s winner, taking home the grand prize belt buckle. Kaleb is the son of Kyle and Stacey (Kovar) Kuskie (pictured here). He is the grandson of Erwin and Betty Kovar of Fayetteville and Kendall and Mary Jo Kuskie of Denton. Kaleb will be invited back to ride in the grand champion Mutton Bustin’ competition on the last night of the rodeo, which takes place this weekend.
