Kids Learn the Art of Cooking in Downtown LG

Throughout the summer, Le Petite in La Grange has been hosting cooking classes for kids, ages 5 through 12. Each class has a specific theme with related recipes. Kids participating in a class have the opportunity to learn each recipe with hands-on experience and instruction, and afterwards get to take home a list of the recipes they made and a cooking related gift.

Classes are offered twice a day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday every week through August 10. In the July 6 class, the theme was “Breakfast anytime,” and kids learned how to make orange juice, donuts, breakfast quesadillas and french toast.
