Karisch Siblings Win Honors at National Breeders Competition

Rheagan Karisch won 3rd place overall junior division at the Junior Beefmasters Breeders Association national show held recently. Rilan Karisch won overall novice. All week they earned points for events they placed in, giving them these rankings. Both Rilan and Rheagan are children of Brandon and Carissa Karisch and attend La Grange ISD.

Tenth Birthday Celebration Rilan Karisch turned ten on July 16. He was honored with a party at the JBBA Nationals Show in Belton. On Friday, July 28. his grandparents and aunt and cousins surprised him with a backyard birthday bash. Decorations featured WWE wrestlers.

Popo grilled hamburgers and grandma fixed all the trimmings as well as baking his favorite vanilla pound cake and cupcakes. He was blown away and all enjoyed the evening Shared Lutheran Ministry Sunday School will be in Rutersville on Sunday, Aug. 6 a from 3-5 pm. All ages are invited.

Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a..m with communion.

Brethren Church

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Facebook page.
