Courthouse Repairs
The City has trimmed a few trees on the square to prepare for the new service flag display. Last week, the courthouse floor was reinforced and boards have been replaced. These repairs were necessary to keep the courthouse safe for continued use and were made possible with a generous grant from the Fayetteville Lions Club.
Emergency Management The mayor has appointed Craig Moreau as our Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of Fayetteville.

News from FISD: Senior recognition and the crowning of the Homecoming Queen and King will be held on Friday, January 20 after the boys varsity game.
Art Exhibit

Picking Park
A group of bluegrass enthusiasts are pickin’ again Saturday, January 14. All levels of pickers are welcome to continue the tradition of live, acoustic bluegrass jamming in the square. AK Kasmiersky celebrated his 80th birthday on January 4 with Mass for his intention. His family then treated him to a meal and concluded the special celebration by singing Happy Birthday.
