The Texas Wendish Heritage Society Scholarship Program is now taking scholarship applications. The Texas Wendish Heritage Society (TWHS) appreciates support given to the scholarship program. All TWHS funds are received through fundraising projects and donations.

This scholarship program is available to students of Wendish descent and encourages students to learn more about their Wendish heritage. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college, university, or trade school for Fall 2023 semester.

Scholarship applications for 2023-2024 are available online at www.texaswendish. org and on the Texas Wendish Facebook Page. The entire process is online and must be submitted digitally by the deadline of 5 p.m. on Saturday July 14, 2023.

Chicken Spaghetti Fundraiser Faith Lutheran High School Booster Club is selling 9 x 13 Chicken Spaghetti casseroles, available for pick up on Monday, May 22. Preorder by Monday, May 15. Cost is $35 each, limited amounts available. Call (979) 242-2889 to order.

Vacation Bible Schools

Vacation Bible School will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran in Warda on June 12-14 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. Registration information is on the website at: www.holycrosswarda. com

Vacation Bible School will be held at St. Paul Lutheran in Serbin on June 12-16 form 8:15-11:15 a.m. for grades 3-7. Rainforest Explorers is the theme and the children will learn how Jesus is the ultimate guide in their lives. Registration is available at their website: www.stpaulserbin.org .

Camp Lone Star

Summer Camp Registration is now open at Camp Lone Star in La Grange. They offer week-long and weekend programs for ages 5-18 to have an adventurous Christcentered experience. Faith Lutheran High School

Faith Lutheran High School Summer Youth Camps are back. FLHS is excited to offer a variety of camps for youth this summer. Ages are for grades NEXT school year.

Faith Lutheran High School will have part time openings on its faculty for the 2023-2024 academic year.
