Holy Cross Couples Club Selling Annual Mothers Day BBQ Chicken

The Couples Club at Holy Cross Lutheran will have their annual BBQ Chickens on Mothers Day, May 12. Chickens are $12 each and cups of sauce are $3. Pick up will be at the Holy Cross picnic grounds from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. Call the church office at (979) 2423333 to place your order by Monday, May 6.

Chicken Spaghetti Fundraiser Faith Lutheran High School will be having a chicken spaghetti casserole fundraiser on Monday, April 15. Pick up will be from 5-6 p.m. and is preorder only. There are four pick-up locations for your convenience. Serbin at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Giddings at First National Bank drive-through parking lot, Warda at Faith High School and La Grange at Lukas Bakery parking lot. An 8x8 casserole is $20 and a 9x13 casserole is $35. Orders can by placed by calling (979) 242-2889 or email kueckj@FLHSTX.org. Orders need to be placed by Monday. April 8.

Knox Memorial Scholarship Applications are now being accepted for The Amanda (Zoch) Knox Memorial Scholarship. This is a 4 year academic based scholarship for an incoming 9th grade student of Faith Lutheran High School beginning in the Fall of 2024. Applications are due May 1 and are available from the school or from Cyndy Zoch at cyndy.zoch@gmail.com.

The Amanda Knox Memorial Scholarship Fund is holding two Spring raffles. The first is for an Ultimate Hill Country Experience for two people. Tickets for this raffle are limited and will sell for $100 each. One winner will be drawn. The second drawing will include 12 items for 12 winners. These tickets will sell for $20 each. Tickets for both raffles are on sale now, with drawings held in May and June. All monies raised will go toward a full scholarship awarded to an incoming freshman at Faith Lutheran High School. Tickets can be purchased from the Holy Cross Lutheran Church office.

Golf Tournament 

Faith Lutheran High School will be holding their annual golf tournament fundraiser on Friday, May 31 at Frisch Auf Country Club in La Grange. Game Day at Holy Cross 

The next Game Day at Holy Cross will be held Thursday,April 18 from noon-2 p.m. A light lunch is served, there is no cost to attend and everyone is welcome. Games of bingo, dominoes and board games are offered.
