City Closures

The mayor wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and a safe holiday. City offices will be closed Friday, Dec 22, Christmas Day, Friday, Dec 29 in the afternoon and Monday, Jan 1.

The office of Judge Jamie Moreau, Justice of the Peace, Precinct 2, will be closed on Friday, Dec. 22 through Jan. 1. Many thanks to all who dropped off gifts for Deputy Santa.

Fayetteville Bank will be closed on Saturday, Dec. 23 and at Christmas. In observance of New Year’s, the bank is closed on Saturday, Dec. 30 and Monday, Jan. 1.

Homecoming

Brand new Park Prairie RV sites are open at Lake Fayette. Park Prairie has been open for day use only for over two years. Church Services

Worship services at Fayetteville Brethren are held on the second, third and fourth Saturday of every month at 10 a.m. An adult Bible Study is held before the worship service from 9-9:45 a.m. On Dec. 23, there will be no services at the church. Everyone is invited to join Industry Brethren Church for a Christmas Candlelight service at 4 p.m. followed by a light meal.

St. Paul Lutheran holds services on Sundays at 10:30 a.m.

St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fayetteville holds mass Saturdays at 6 p.m., and Sunday’s at 10 a.m.

St. Mary Catholic Church in Ellinger holds mass on Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Sunday’s at 8 a.m.
