Hillhouses Donate $30,000 to Children’s Advocacy Center

The Children’s Advocacy Center, serving Bastrop, Lee, and Fayette Counties, is honored to announce a significant $30,000 donation from community supporters Steve and Sumer Hillhouse.

This generous contribution will be instrumental in the establishment of a fully equipped Children’s Advocacy Center satellite office in La Grange, designed to enhance support for victims and families in Fayette County.

As the leading local organization dedicated to the intervention, investigation, and therapeutic recovery of child abuse and neglect, the Children’s Advocacy Center plays a crucial role in safeguarding the well-being of children in our community. The center also collaborates closely with law enforcement and child protection agencies, aiding in the investigation and prosecution of criminal offenses related to child abuse.

The Hillhouse’s donation will directly fund the lease and acquisition of essential equipment for the new La Grange office, which will be conveniently situated in the new Bluebonnet Trails building on Business Highway 71.
