Kailey Kuntschik, daughter of Alan and Nicole Hall Kuntschik of Seguin and Colby Hall, son of Bert and Christie Hall of League City, received their American FFA Degree on Nov. 4 at the 96th National FFA Convention held in Indianapolis, Ind. The American FFA Degree is bestowed upon a select group of students in recognition of their years of academic and professional excellence. Less than 1% of the 945,988 FFA student members receive this degree. This year 4,423 American Degrees were awarded. Texas had 254 members awarded. Kuntschik is a 2022 graduate of Navarro High School and is currently attending Blinn Junior College with plans to transfer to Tarleton State University. Hall is a 2021 graduate of Clear Falls High School and is currently attending Texas A&M University. Also attending the convention were grandparents Eugene and Carlyn Hall of Round Top and Shirley Mueller of Brenham. Kailey is the granddaughter of the late Henry and Verlene Kuntschik and Colby is the grandson of the late Robert Mueller.
