Gardiner Celebrates 95th Birthday

95 and still alive, Rella Gardiner, 50-year resident of Fayette County, celebrated her 95th birthday with family at her home on Sunday, July 28. When she proclaimed to her children “I’m 95 and still alive!” they decided to put that on her cake. She attributes her long life to the grace and love of her heavenly Father. Pictured are three of her children, Nancy Kollaja of Fayetteville, Randy Gardiner of La Grange, and Jane Diggs of La Grange. Not pictured are Judy Krueger of La Grange, Debbie Herin of Silsbee, and Sandra Kobs of Brenham. She was also the mother of Dan Gardiner (deceased 2016), and Peggy Gardiner (deceased 1989), and wife of Richard Gardiner (deceased 2018).
