Game Day Saturday at RT Family Library

This Saturday, March 9 is Family Game Day at the Library from 2-4 p.m. The library will have several different board games out, ready for a fun afternoon. Bring your family and friends for a day of classic and current games. Light snack served. Parent or guardian must be present for the duration. This event is free.

Spring Antique Show 

This Thursday, March 14, marks the opening day of the 2024 Spring Antique Show in Round Top. While Thursday is the first official day, not all vendors will be opening quite yet. Some of the vendors who will be welcoming visitors include: Bar W Field, Campbell Building, Chicken Ranch, Dillard’s Field, Ex-Cess, St. John’s Church Field, The Bull Market, The Marketplace Warrenton, Zapp Hall, McLaren’s Antiques, Round Top Square DYD, The Porch, and Chelsea’s Meadow.

Round Top Family Library 

The library has tons of wonderful opportunities for kids during the week including story time, Junior Master Gardeners, art class, jazz dance class, chess club, and Taekwondo. Contact the library for details on dates and times. Email info@ilovetoread.org or call (979) 249-2700.

RTC-ISD 

The students will be out for Spring Break Monday, March 11-Friday, March 15. There is a holiday on Friday, March 22 as well as Friday, March 29. The next school board meeting is set for Monday, March 25.

Round Top Rifle Hall 

The Round Top Rifle Hall’s Monday Night Hamburger Socials take place the first, second, and third Mondays of each month. The Hall is open from 5:30-8 p.m. for hamburgers, “The Rooster,” hotdogs, or chilidogs, along with fries or onion rings. All proceeds benefit the continued improvement of the Round Top Rifle Association.

Festival Hill 

The 29th Annual Herbal Forum and Plant Sale at Festival Hill will be March 15-16. This year’s theme is “Cultivating, Creating and Cooking with Herbs”. The plant sale is Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday’s events includes talks on Yarrow, the Herb of the Year, dyeing with plants, and on pathways for connecting nature with homegrown wellness.
